A goal for Sugarbush Soaring is to increase the number of people that learn about our sport through an introductory glider flight. Without some marketing effort, Vermont tourists won’t know we exist. Welcome centers (glorified pit stops!) on I-89 in Williston are operated by the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce. Sugarbush Soaring has a new, large poster in the Southbound Welcome Center.

The Centers, with a staff of 16 hosts, help tourists decide on activities during their stay in Vermont. We will introduce a few hosts to soaring towards the end of May. Stop by at the Welcome center, get a free cup of Green Mountain coffee, and chat with the host about our club!
